The
Kellogg Forum on Higher Education Transformation
(KFHET)
was a learning collaborative that brought together academic leaders
and higher education scholars to better understand institutional
change and transformation. Initiated by the W.
K. Kellogg Foundation and convened by the American Council on
Education, its partners shared a commitment
to the values articulated by the Foundation, that higher education
exists to serve and improve society for all people through its contributions
in teaching, research, and service.
Through
testing assumptions and ideas about how change occurs within colleges
and universities and linking research and practice, KFHET partners
developed new ideas about higher education transformation.
The
distinctiveness of KFHET lies in the combination of different playersdiverse
institutions, researchers, a national association, and a foundationand
their ability to bring different perspectives and insights to bear
on the understanding of transformation. Please explore this site
